December is here, and cold, dry weather is close on its heels. Winter can
be hard for those with sensitive skin, and even those who don't may see
their skin suffer from the weather, stress and lack of sleep.

Winter can be especially hard on sensitive skin, but with these easy
steps you will be on your way to protecting your most visible asset.

Step 1: Know what you're dealing with

If you want to know how to deal with sensitive skin, the first step is to
know exactly what sensitive skin is.

Sensitive skin is not temporary. So whether your inflamed skin is a
result of a food allergy or applying a different kind of cosmetic, it
still does not clearly indicate if you have sensitive skin. But if you
have tried many different kinds of cosmetics and your skin is still red,
dry or breaking out, then you might have sensitive skin. Take the test
below to find out.

1. Your skin is extremely dry.

2. You always feel stressed.

3. The skin cutin is very thin and hypodermal capillaries are easily
seen.

4. When the seasons change, your skin becomes inflamed and itches.

5. Your skin is very sensitive to all external changes or stimulations,
like cosmetics, metal jewelries and even clothing.

6. You get red spots on your face after youve been drinking alcohol.

If you have two or more of the symptoms mentioned above, you may have
sensitive skin!
