George Clooney has been selling kisses for charity in Cannes and it
appears that they don't come cheap.

A smooch with the Hollywood heartthrob was sold for $750,000 (378,000)
at a charity auction, but despite the price the winning bidder wasn't
complaining.

The annual amfAR event was hosted by actress Sharon Stone, who made a
very glamorous and surprisingly professional auctioneer.

She proved there was no end to her talents as she joined Kylie Minogue on
stage to perform Can't Get You Out Of My Head, although it seems doubtful
they'll be releasing a duets album anytime soon.

The charity bash was bursting at the seams with glamour as Clooney and
Stone were joined by the rest of the Ocean's 13 cast and numerous other
celebs including Mischa Barton, Naomi Campbell, Catherine Deneuve, John
Galliano, and Elle Macpherson to name just a few.

The amfAR event, which supports Aids research charges between 15,000
and 50,000 per table and is believed to have raised a reported 3.7
million for charity.
